No lights on throttle for RMB bicycle

If the bike works but there are no lights on the throttle, the battery gauge connector may simply be unplugged, follow steps 1- 3.

If the bike does not work and there are no lights on the throttle, the fuse may be blown, follow step # 4 .

1. Remove the plate covering the top of the bike’s rear rack by removing the four Phillips head screws.

2. The controller is the silver box located underneath the plate.

3. Locate the throttle battery gauge connector. If disconnected, simply reconnect it. If it appears to be connected, disconnect and then reconnect.

If this step did not resolve your issue please continue to step 4

4. Remove the battery pack from the rack.

5. On the backside of the battery pack is the fuse holder. Remove it using a Phillips head screwdriver.

6.  Inspect the fuse. If the fuse is bad, replace it with another glass type 40amp fuse (6mm x 30mm). If you wish to order the part from Currie Technologies, please call our customer support line at 800.377.4532.

7. Reinstall the fuse (being sure it is good) into the battery pack. Install battery pack into rack.

8. Turn the power switch “ON” and prop the rear wheel off the ground allowing it to spin freely.

9. Twist the throttle, the rear wheel should spin now (be sure bike is in “TAG” mode).

If these steps did not resolve your issue then please call our customer support line at (800) 377-4532 for further assistance.
