1. Remove the platform by unscrewing the bolt located under the on/off switch.
2. Disconnect and remove the battery.
3. Remove the plate located forward of the battery compartment. The controller is the silver box located behind the plate.
4. Check to be sure the motor connector is properly engaged. Cut the zip tie, disconnect the connector then reconnect it.
5. Locate and disconnect the brake inhibitor connection on the controller. It is a white connector with two small wires leaving each side.
6. With the power switch turned “OFF”. Secure the scooter so the the rear wheel is off the ground and it can spin freely. Reconnect the battery. Turn the power switch “ON” and attempt to throttle the scooter.
7. If your problem is solved you will need to replace the brake lever.
8. If the problem persists, locate and disconnect the charger inhibitor connection on the controller. It is a white connector with one wire leaving each side.
